Helen Bulat

Helen Bulat Boost Partner

Helen brings to Boost two decades of formal urban planning, project management, event production and communications experience. She has had a successful career in the civil service and as past co-owner of HEP Pop House Inc., a design and production collective.

She has coordinated many City of Toronto planning projects and economic development initiatives in the areas of tourism, fashion and special events. She has managed grant programs benefiting the local arts and festivals, and has consulted on community development campaigns and public-private sponsorship proposals.

Helen has extensive experience developing communication strategies and branding campaigns. She has worked with a large number of organizations, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Beaches International Jazz Festival, Canadian Aboriginal Festival and Tourism Toronto. On the special events side, Helen has programmed, scripted, choreographed, produced and directed corporate conferences, charity galas, outdoor festivals, fashion shows and installations.

Over the years, Helen has worked with Xerox Canada, The Smirnoff Group, Famous Players, Swatch Canada, Liberty Entertainment Group, Citytv and others.

Helen is fluent in English & Ukrainian and has a working knowledge of Russian, French & Italian.



Mashi Karumanchiri Boost Partner

Prior to joining forces with Helen Bulat, Mashi honed her skills in event management and production through her company - Viya Events. Over the past decade she has accumulated a wealth of experience in event promotion, marketing, advertising, corporate sponsorship and catering.

Mashi enjoys the challenge of creating events that are well organized and memorable. She has successfully created and/or coordinated and directed small and large-scale events, from outdoor street festivals to press conferences and intimate weddings. She has built a reputation in providing and maintaining total client satisfaction.

In the past decade, Mashi has worked with a wide range of clients, including the City of Toronto, Evian Natural Spring Water, Fairchild Television and the Toronto Italian Film Festival. She has produced entertainment extravaganzas for a number of charity fundraisers, such as the ReVamp Environmental Fashion Show that ran for a period of seven years. She has appeared on CTV's Canada AM, Citytv's Breakfast Television, CFTO Evening News, and Rogers Television as an event spokesperson.

Mashi is fluent in English & Italian and has a working knowledge of French.

Orysia Krucko

Orysia Krucko

Montreal, Canada based associate, Orysia has two decades of international experience in project management, conference and event planning and training. Having worked with the private sector, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions and associations, Orysia has operated as a consultant for the aerospace, automotive and transportation industries.

Orysia has extensive experience in managing large-scale conferences, exhibitions and special events. She recently organized an international, five-day conference for Bombardier Transportation involving over 600 presenters, which attracted over 4,000 attendees. Her expertise lies in developing and executing master schedules, creatively designing content and coordinating press conferences, employee briefings and related activities.

In the area of training, Orysia has designed programs, conducted needs analysis and developed materials, strategies and evaluations. She has also developed workshops, curriculum, manuals and train-the-trainer sessions. Her clients have included General Motors of Canada Ltd., Pratt and Whitney Canada, and community colleges and cégeps around the world.

She has operated in numerous countries including Asia, Germany, Hungary, South America and Ukraine. Multi-lingual, Orysia adapts easily to different cultural environments.

Orysia is fluent in English, French, German & Ukrainian and has a working knowledge of Russian and Spanish.
